Recently, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has signed tourism cooperation agreements with leading Chinese tourism enterprises in Beijing. Benefiting from the mutual visa‑exemption policy, direct air routes between the two countries keep expanding, greatly facilitating cross‑border trips. From January to July 2026, over 2.8 million Chinese tourists visited Thailand. Both sides will jointly develop high‑quality tourism programs, expand cooperation in smart tourism, cross‑border e‑commerce and agricultural trade. Thailand will increase exports of tropical fruits to China. Investment cooperation in new‑energy and digital industries will also be promoted. Tourism exchanges boost commercial trade, while economic ties further strengthen people‑to‑people bonds. The two nations work hand‑in‑hand to build a closer China‑Thailand community with a shared future。
