Jakarta, June 12 — Backed by the RCEP agreement and the Belt‑and‑Road Initiative, work on the China‑Indonesia comprehensive regional‑economic‑corridor moves steadily ahead, revitalising industrial and supply‑chains across Southeast‑Asia.

Both nations keep upgrading cross‑border customs‑clearance workflows and accelerate development of the North‑Kalimantan industrial‑park and the China‑Indonesia twin‑park scheme, drawing investors from renewable‑energy, food‑processing and digital‑tech sectors. The integrated land‑sea logistics route linking Southwest‑China and the Indonesian archipelago takes shape, enabling larger exports of palm‑oil, tropical fruits and mineral‑resources to China, while Chinese machinery‑equipment and agricultural‑supplies steadily enter Indonesian markets. Regular industrial‑matchmaking events help small‑and‑medium‑enterprises join regional‑production networks and let neighbouring ASEAN states share the development dividends.

Chinese trade commissioners noted that regional‑connectivity unlocks the enormous geographic strengths of both partners. Indonesia’s Coordinating‑Minister for Maritime‑Affairs and Investment commented that the partnership extends well beyond bilateral ties and radiates across the Indo‑Pacific. The two countries will keep closing infrastructure gaps and advance the economic‑integration of Southeast‑Asia.
