Interns hold a dual identity as both students and teachers during their internship. They shall remain modest and prudent, and conduct themselves in strict accordance with the Professional Ethics Code for Primary and Secondary School Teachers. All interns must consciously abide by the following disciplines:

  1. Abide by the Party’s educational guidelines and policies, dedicate themselves to education, and care for all students. Obey unified arrangements issued by the School, and strictly comply with all internship management rules and regulations of the host internship school.

  2. Submit to the leadership of both the School and the host school. Humbly accept guidance from supervising teachers, original subject teachers and head teachers. Respect all staff members of the host school and follow its work arrangements. Any requests or opinions shall be submitted through formal channels; gossip and troublemaking are prohibited.

  3. Participate in all teaching and educational activities arranged by the host school as required. Perform duties with diligence and a strong sense of responsibility, delve into educational principles, and continuously improve teaching capabilities.

  4. Conform to the host school’s standards for teachers’ professional conduct and daily life. Maintain appropriate speech and behavior, live a simple life, and dress neatly and decently. Impart knowledge and cultivate morality through words and deeds, and set a good example for students.

  5. For classroom teaching internships and head teacher internships, interns shall draft lesson plans and work plans in advance and submit them to both university and host school supervising teachers for review. Trial teaching or group discussion must be conducted, and formal classes or class management work may only proceed upon approval.

  6. When interns need to ask for leave during the internship, leave within one day shall be approved by the supervising teacher of the internship school and the college supervising teacher; leave within three days shall be approved by the school-level leader of the internship school in charge of internship work and the college leader in charge of internship work; leave within seven days shall be approved by the principal of the internship school and the group leader of the college internship management team, and the leave application shall be filed with the Academic Affairs Office; leave of more than seven days shall be approved by the group leader of the school internship leading group, and the leave application shall be filed with the Academic Affairs Office.

  7. For interns who seriously violate disciplines, refuse to correct misconduct after repeated admonition, or adopt a bad attitude, supervising teachers have the right to propose to the internship leading group to terminate the internship of such interns, and their internship results shall be recorded as failing. Those with serious circumstances shall be dealt with in accordance with the university’s student status management regulations.
