Recently, in the university-wide selection of exemplary cases in talent cultivation and teaching reform, a series of initiatives submitted by the School of Foreign Languages received strong recognition. A total of thirteen case studies were selected for promotion across the university, covering four major categories: exemplary application scenarios from the second batch of “Artificial Intelligence + Higher Education” initiatives, model cases of curriculum-based ideological and civic education, “One Instructor, One Signature Course” teaching excellence cases, and exemplary cases of course assessment and evaluation. These achievements fully demonstrate the School’s systematic exploration and notable outcomes in areas such as AI-empowered foreign language teaching, the deep integration of values education into curricula, smart classroom development, and diversified assessment reform.

The selection of these case studies represents a concentrated reflection of the School’s sustained efforts in advancing teaching reform and deepening innovation in talent cultivation models. In recent years, guided by the reform framework of digital and intelligent empowerment, integration of competition and instruction, cultural communication, and competence-oriented education, the School of Foreign Languages has promoted the coordinated development of smart course construction, the restructuring of teaching evaluation systems, and innovation in classroom teaching models. Through these efforts, the School has gradually established a high-quality talent cultivation pathway with distinctive characteristics of the foreign languages discipline.

Taking this university-wide promotion as an opportunity, the School will further strengthen the dissemination and application of exemplary practices, improve support mechanisms for teaching reform, and extend outstanding cases into curriculum clusters, program development, and the entire talent cultivation process. By continuously fostering high-level teaching achievements, the School aims to comprehensively enhance the quality of foreign language talent cultivation and its capacity to serve societal needs.
