To steadily advance high-quality and full employment of graduates, build an accurate talent matching platform for schools and enterprises, and support local key enterprises in recruiting and cultivating talents, the school’s 2026 Spring Campus Job Fair was successfully held on April 16. The School of Foreign Languages made careful arrangements for graduates of the Class of 2026 and some underclassmen to attend the fair. Chi Yingjuan, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, Niu Luo, Secretary of the General Youth League Branch, and Liu Xinxin, student counselor, led the students to participate throughout the event and provided on-site guidance.

The job fair proceeded in good order with a warm and vibrant atmosphere. School leaders and teachers visited booths of various employers, conducting in-depth exchanges with company representatives to learn about industry development trends, job vacancies and recruitment criteria. They actively promoted outstanding students from the school and took initiative to build bridges for school-enterprise cooperation. Meanwhile, teachers cordially checked in with job-seeking students, asking detailed questions about their job-hunting progress and employment demands. Combined with the characteristics of foreign language majors and students’ career plans, they provided one-on-one career counseling and personalized job matching suggestions.

Graduates of the Class of 2026 took an active and confident approach. Carrying resumes, they moved between recruitment booths and held thorough talks with enterprise representatives on core information including job requirements, salary packages and career development prospects. They fully demonstrated their language proficiency, professional attainments and comprehensive competitiveness in pursuit of suitable jobs matching their strengths. Underclassmen gained immersive experience of the recruitment scene through on-site observation, gained a clear grasp of employment market trends and corporate recruitment needs, and further clarified their study goals and career development paths.

This job fair effectively unblocked the communication channel between the university and enterprises, realizing a three-way win-win situation for enterprises to recruit talents, students to secure jobs and the school to cultivate talents. Many students stated that this activity deepened their understanding of the employment situation and boosted their job-hunting competitiveness and employment confidence. Moving forward, the School of Foreign Languages will continue to prioritize graduate employment work, continuously optimize employment services, improve support mechanisms, deepen school-enterprise cooperation and expand employment channels. Multiple measures will be adopted to help students achieve high-quality and full employment, and deliver more outstanding foreign language professionals for local economic and social development.
