On June 6, the 19th Shandong Provincial “Challenge Cup” Competition of National Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works concluded successfully at Linyi University.

The “Smart Launch” team from Qilu Normal University—comprising students from the School of Foreign Languages and the School of Information Science and Engineering—won the provincial Top Prize with their project titled “A Study on the Practical Foundations and Path Optimization for Empowering Undergraduate Education Digital Transformation in Shandong Province through Smartt Curriculum”. Their work stood out among 462 shortlisted entries, marking the university’s first-ever Top Prize in this prestigious competition.

The project employed a mixed-methods empirical study based on an integrated Technology Acceptance Model–Task-Technology Fit (TAM-TTF) framework, offering both scientific support and innovative pathways for digital transformation in higher education institutions and establishing a model case for smart education. This year’s competition involved 120 universities across Shandong Province, divided into two categories: general universities and vocational colleges.

This achievement highlights Qilu Normal University’s outstanding capabilities in innovation and entrepreneurship education, research-based talent development, and service to high-quality local educational advancement.
