On June 18, the School of Foreign Languages held a forum for the graduating Class of 2025 in Room B216 of Building No. 2. Song Xiukui, Dean of the School, presided over the meeting, which was attended by members of the School’s Party and administrative leadership team, all administrative staff, and student representatives from the graduating classes.

Dean Song introduced the School’s proactive initiatives—including optimizing training programs, advancing curriculum reform, and expanding international exchange opportunities—and encouraged students to speak freely and offer constructive suggestions for the School’s future development.

Graduating student representatives shared heartfelt reflections on their academic learning, internships, postgraduate entrance exam preparation, job hunting, and personal growth during university years. They expressed sincere gratitude for the School’s high-quality teaching resources, diverse development platforms, and nurturing educational environment. They also offered thoughtful suggestions regarding teaching, discipline building, talent cultivation, and student affairs—promptly addressed by relevant School leaders on-site.

In his concluding remarks, Yu Jiang, the School’s Party Committee Secretary, extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the graduates embarking on new journeys. He affirmed that their suggestions would be translated into concrete, actionable measures, and expressed his expectation for continued alumni engagement and support for the School’s development. The forum embodied the student-centered philosophy, served as a vital bridge between faculty and students, and provided key insights to enhance the quality of talent cultivation.
