From October 10 to 12, Chen Feng, a faculty member of the School of Foreign Languages, participated in the 2025 Annual Conference of the Shandong Society of Foreign Linguistics, hosted by the Shandong Society of Foreign Linguistics and organized by the School of Foreign Languages and the College English Education Institute of Liaocheng University. During the Applied Linguistics Sub-Forum, he delivered an academic presentation entitled “Encoding Degree Category for Psychological Predicates: Evidence from the Yimeng Dialect.”

The conference was held under the theme “The Mission and Innovation of Foreign Linguistics in the Era of Digital Civilization” and brought together nearly 200 experts, scholars, and emerging researchers from both within and outside the province. Participation in the conference and the delivery of an academic presentation not only demonstrated the School of Foreign Languages’ solid academic foundations in linguistic research, but also further strengthened academic exchange and collaboration between the School and peer institutions across the province and beyond.
