On the afternoon of June 19, 2025, the School of Foreign Languages held a forum for graduates majoring in Translation at Room B212, Building No. 2. Present were Feng Xiaoling, Head of the Translation Teaching & Research Section, and Class Advisor Zhao Yu, who also presided over the seminar.

At the forum, graduating students reflected thoughtfully on their academic journey, expressing deep gratitude to their alma mater and faculty mentors. They offered constructive feedback across multiple dimensions—including curriculum design (e.g., increasing practice-oriented courses and reducing overreliance on theoretical instruction), pedagogical approaches, thesis supervision, internship coordination, postgraduate entrance exam preparation support, and teaching facilities.

Ms. Feng and Zhao responded comprehensively, stating that they would align their actions with the college’s actual conditions, conduct a systematic review, implement step-by-step optimizations, and continuously enhance the quality of talent cultivation.

This forum effectively facilitated communication between faculty and students, providing valuable insights for pedagogical reform and talent development in translation studies.
