To further promote the popularization and publicity of the Civil Code, implement legal publicity and education, guide young students to consciously respect, study, abide by and apply the law, and build a solid legal defense line for youth, the School of Foreign Languages recently organized classes to carry out the themed class meeting activity of "Studying the Civil Code and Staying True to the Original Aspiration", bringing the spirit of the Civil Code into the classroom and deeply into people's hearts through immersive legal education.

With the core of "popularizing civil law knowledge, promoting the spirit of rule of law, and adhering to the original aspiration and mission", this class meeting systematically explained the legislative background, core essence and epochal significance of the Civil Code through diversified forms such as case analysis, video learning, interactive Q&A and scenario simulation. Focusing on high-frequency legal scenarios on campus, the class meeting focused on interpreting legal knowledge closely related to students' daily life, such as personality right protection, campus bullying prevention, network tort liability, campus loan risks, labor and employment rights protection, and neighborhood dispute handling, transforming abstract legal provisions into perceptible, learnable and applicable life common sense.

During the activity, students watched legal education videos intensively to intuitively feel the power of the rule of law; they had heated discussions on topics such as "How the Civil Code Guards Youth Growth" and "How Young People in the New Era Practice the Original Aspiration of Rule of Law", and actively shared legal cases around them and learning experiences, deepening their understanding and cognition of the Civil Code in the collision of ideas. Everyone said that the Civil Code is not only a "amulet" to protect their own rights and interests, but also a "compass" to regulate daily behaviors. In the future, they will take the initiative to learn legal knowledge, enhance the concept of rule of law, and consciously achieve "knowing the law in mind and abiding by the law in action".

The development of this themed class meeting of "Studying the Civil Code and Staying True to the Original Aspiration" has effectively unblocked the channels of campus legal popularization, effectively enhanced the awareness of rule of law and sense of rules of students in the School of Foreign Languages, and created a strong campus atmosphere of "respecting, studying, abiding by and applying the law". In the next step, the School of Foreign Languages will continue to promote the construction of a rule-of-law campus, carry out legal publicity and education activities on a regular basis, continuously improve students' legal literacy, escort students' growth and success with the power of rule of law, and contribute to the high-quality development of the school.
